From its inception in 2001 until 2010, the Fund's main activities were advising IE in its international expansion into the North American market and funding our scholarship program, Take the Challenge. The “challenge” referred to the challenges facing developing countries and granted partial scholarships of around $20,000 to IE students who either came from developing countries or planned to work in a developing country after their graduation from IE.

       Over the past 14 years of Fund activities, we can boast the establishment of three offices in America which currently process hundreds of applications, the creation of the IE-Brown Executive MBA program and a growing number of accomplished American and Canadian students as evidence of board members' wisdom and loyalty to IE.
